My above-water pics from 1999 and 2000 were taken with a Kodak DC260. That camera is now "ancient" on the scale of digital camera evolution. It was quite capable of making nice pics and provided lots of fun and learning opportunities.
Underwater pics before 2001 were all taken by my Nikonos III, also ancient but still appreciated for being simple and -- IF well maintained -- reliable. Another benefit, it's recoverable after flooding!
Most pics from early 2001 onwards were taken with my newer digital cameras, Olympus C-3030 and Olympus C-4040.
