Good progress during the summer
Top photo: The view as you arrive, coming down the driveway, where you now see the mostly-done Hemlock cladding so nicely installed by Jeremiah and his brother. Still more to come on the below section, where you see insulating bubble-wrap partially installed.
Middle photo: Looking from the side that the morning sun comes up on - i.e. looking towards the kitchen corner - you can only back up so far before you are in trees too thick to photograph thru - thus the shot that you see. And the side with the green tarpaulin is the makings of massive chimney #2 - which is being built and clad with stone as a single operation - i.e. not first built 'to height' with the block and then clad. Ultimately, of course, both 'chimineys' will be the same height, with a capstone right across the top of each - actually FIVE pieces of flat stone to cover the bloody thing - 13 feet wide and 4 feet deep.
Bottom photo: On the 'view side' of the house, which looks to the South, one looks THRU the trunks of those tall skinny maple trees, and then out across the valley to the other side. But taking this pic in the opposite direction - towards the house - you see mostly the leafy saplings which are coming up underneath the tall Maples.
